Daisy Love Chains & the Tent Caterpillar Control Revival

Stuart, Allen and Chad were putting together a new band early spring of 1989 after Mutard had stopped functioning. They wanted to go in a new direction, a little less abrasive than their previous hardcore punk incarnations. They recruited a second guitarist, Ryan Anderson, formerly of the band Bonzzort. They were looking for a singer but had exhausted the few available prospects in their previous bands. They eventually landed on the most available singer in South Hill Puyallup at the time, Potter, who had sang for both Mutard and Bonzzort.
In the first couple weeks of practicing Allen fell out of the lineup. It was a one Guitar band after that. Dave Takata became a floating member, picking up backing vocals and percussion, blowing bubbles. The bands first performance was on June 3rd 1989 at a grange hall on Canyon road with the Yellow Pages. Bob Lurvey sat in for a song, playing keyboards on a cover of the Cars "Just What I Needed". The band sort of broke up after this show but would reform a few weeks later.
That summer the band performed at Theresa's Barn a handful of times, as well as several guerrilla performances at schools and parks and backyards throughout South Hill. In the Fall the band slipped on to a real gig on a bill with the Yellow Pages at Legends, formerly Crescent Ballroom. Also on the bill that night was Metamorphosis and Toxic Shock. The band got a second show on the merit of the first performance, and returned to Legends two weeks later opening up for Gibby Lixx and Eastern Star. The band would have had a third show at Legends with My Name and Machine but they were broken up, and not informed of the booking.
The band did reform briefly and play a couple parties before calling it quits entirely. Chad and Stuart segued directly in to Swelter Cacklebush with Micah Hembree and Jason Harsin. Ryan and Potter would re-emerge the following year in a new incarnation of Bonzzort. There doesn't seem to be any recordings of this group available anymore, but maybe some will turn up.
